Yahoo Lifestyle: Local Designers To Look Out For At The 2017 Singapore Fashion Week
Fashionistas, get ready for the return of the annual Singapore Fashion Week (SGFW).
Happening from 26 to 28 October at the National Gallery, the three-day event will feature a collection by celebrity designer Jason Wu, as well as those from modest fashion designers such as Jovian Mandagie and Dian Pelangi.
Apart from these big names, watch out for these Singaporean designers and brands that will also be showing at the event.
Born and raised in Singapore, Gin Lee initially established her womenswear brand in 2011 in Israel when she move there with her husband.
Her independent fashion label GINLEE focuses on clean, modern designs that have relaxed yet flattering silhouettes for women to work and dance in.
Last year, Lee was awarded the Emerging Designer of the Year at the Singapore Fashion Awards.
